Single Session Therapy

If you’re facing something specific you’d like to explore, a single-session therapy option may be just what you need. I offer a safe, supportive space to explore a particular issue, express what you’re feeling, gain clarity and move forward.

What It Is For?

Maybe there’s an issue bothering you: perhaps you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, unsure what to do next, or lacking someone impartial with whom to talk. Maybe you don’t feel ready (or able) to commit to long-term therapy, but you’d like a safe space to explore what’s on your mind and to think about options.

This session is designed for exactly that: you come for one session, we work together to understand what’s happening, what you’d like to move towards, and what could help you next.

What happens in the session?

  • Together we’ll clarify what you most want to use the time for: what you’d like to explore, understand or decide.
  • I’ll listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you reflect on what feels most important or difficult.
  • There’s room for both emotional support and practical focus — whether that means untangling feelings, thinking through options, or simply feeling heard.
  • We’ll aim to leave the session with practical ideas and a clearer sense of what you might do next. If it turns out you would benefit from further work, we can discuss that too — but there’s no obligation to commit to more.

Who Is This For?

One-Session Therapy is particularly useful for when you:

  • want support around one issue or situation that feels pressing
  • need help making sense of your thoughts, emotions, or possible next steps
  • are going through a transition or difficult moment and would like to pause and reflect
  • don’t want or need open-ended therapy right now
  • want a confidential, professional space just for you (or you + a partner/family member, depending on how you prefer).
